ACC Regular Season Notes
For the best experience, I recommend reading articles in a web browser or via the Substack app. Duke Basketball Reference is not affiliated with Duke Athletics or Duke University.
ACC Assists
I’ve been wanting to do some version of this for the last two years, but it was always too daunting to pull together at the end of the season. So this year, I’ve been cutting up clips of my favorite assists after every game. Duke has assisted on 59.6% of their made field goals on the season (39th), and 57.6% in ACC play (2nd) - and one of my favorite things under Coach Scheyer has been watching the ball movement on offense.1 The only bad thing about all these dimes? The video is 23 minutes, so put it on 2x speed and enjoy the passing.
ACC Analytics
Here are KenPom’s conference-only analytics through the end of the regular season, along with per game specialty stats via CBB Analytics.
The ACC is currently fourth in both KenPom and Evan Miya’s newly updated conference rankings.
